As we move more and more into an application centric desktop system, it is important to bring consistency and allow for easier management of the content in a user's computer.

One should be able to package subtitles and movies together or package entire music albums so that the folder organization mimics that of Beatbox, for example.

Movies seldom have a decent manager so they are usually left with hundreds of folders and, for non-english speakers, the amount of subtitles doubles this number.

Well thats a very interesting idea. But I would still prefer my old folders ^^

Agreed, folders provide basically the same functionality :)
